Healthy Comparisons is the ground-breaking website that provides important health and product information to the 70% of Australians who consume alternative medicine each year.
Healthy Comparisons provides product comparisons and reviews, blogs, articles and fact sheets so that you can make informed decisions about Australian vitamin products. We also have forums so that you can ask questions and share experiences in a warm and supportive Australian community.
Healthy Comparisons is entirely independent, does not sell any products and is not aligned with any manufacturers or distributors. We purchase national pharmaceutical sales data from an independent third party to rank the products on the site.

About Healthy Comparisons Product Reviews and Quality Ratings
Healthy Comparisons has assembled an expert panel of some of Australia's leading Naturopaths to rate and review individual products so that you can make informed decisions about your vitamin purchases.
The Review Panel review each product and apply a quality rating out of 100 based on the following criteria:
- 40% - Effectiveness of the nutrient/s in supporting the intended benefit
- 40% - Daily dosage/s of the nutrient/s are sufficient to deliver intended benefit
- 20% - Quality of inactive ingredients and manufacturing process
"Intended benefit" is defined as the primary benefit that is outlined in the product description in relation to the health category that the product is listed under.
It is important to note that price and value for money is not considered as part of the Quality Rating criteria and that ratings are based on the professional opinion of the individuals in the panel and not that of Healthy Comparisons.
Over the next few months, the Vitamin Review Panel will review all of the products on the Healthy Comparisons website. The health conditions which have been reviewed so far include:
